Is there a charge for samples?JinHai offers two options for your consideration.
- Simple, low-value samples: If you express strong intent to collaborate with JinHai (typically by providing detailed drawings, clear quantity requirements, and a delivery schedule), we charge 50% of the standard sample price. We commit to deducting this sample cost from the bulk order payment upon subsequent order placement.
- Complex, high-value samples: For products involving hundreds of circuits, specialized connectors, or expensive shielding layers, we charge standard sample fees. However, we commit to refunding the sample cost if your subsequent order exceeds 10 times the sample value.
Sample Lead Time
- Upon receiving your sample request, JinHai will complete sample production within 1-3 weeks and ship it to your location via international express delivery.
Accepted Payment Methods?
At JinHai, we only support three payment methods:
- FOB + 100% advance T/T
- OB + Deposit (30%-50%) + Balance (70%-50%) upon receipt of copy of B/L via T/T
- FOB + Letter of Credit (L/C)

Additionally, the cycle may extend due to special circumstances (e.g., shipping weather conditions, tariff fluctuations).
Are there discounts for bulk orders?
Regarding bulk order discounts, JinHai offers multiple discount options for your selection:
- Direct Price Discount: We provide tiered pricing based on order quantity (e.g., 1K, 5K, 10K, 50K). Unit prices decrease with order volume, offering the most transparent pricing feedback.
- Free Product Allocation: We provide complimentary products based on order quantity. For example, with a 10K order, we include 10 free units as spares.
- Logistics Support: For orders exceeding 5K units, we may cover 20% of local transportation costs (to Chinese customs).
- Engineering Support: While ensuring product performance and reliability, we may utilize more cost-effective materials or implement minor design adjustments, sharing the resulting cost savings with you.
What do I need to get a quote?
We need specific information, such as material, size, thickness, and quantity. Ideally, you can provide drawings. For simple products, sketches are also acceptable.
Do you support customized designs?
Yes, we offer full-process customized design services, but require clients to provide clear technical input documents to ensure precise alignment with requirements. Below are the specific requirements and collaboration process:
- Required Input Documents:
- Electrical Schematic: Specify wire gauge, connector models, fuse/relay locations, etc.;
- 2D Layout Diagram: Specify branch dimensions, cable tie attachment points, protective material specifications, and shielding requirements;
- Application Environment Parameters: Indicate operating temperature range, vibration conditions, waterproof rating, and EMC requirements;
- Customization Service Process:

- External Moisture Protection: After final packaging, products are placed on pallets for shipment. Prior to dispatch, goods on pallets receive secondary protection with stretch wrap.
- Shock Absorption Solutions:During transit, wiring harnesses experience vibrations and jostling. To prevent damage to critical connectors, JinHai offers enhanced shock absorption solutions:
- Wrapping entire harnesses in bubble wrap for protection;
- Using custom-shaped EVA foam to wrap harnesses or as padding/separators;

How to Handle Quality Issues or Returns
At JinHai, if shipped goods develop quality issues, we generally handle them through the following three approaches:
- If the product is irreparable, JinHai will directly reship a replacement to the customer;
- If the product is repairable, JinHai will coordinate with the customer to arrange for a third-party service provider approved by the customer to handle the repair, with all associated costs borne by JinHai;
- For standard orders, JinHai will provide complimentary products equivalent to 0.1% of the order value for future maintenance or replacement purposes.
Quality Control Measures in Production?
- Incoming Material Inspection
- Wires and terminals are sampled and tested based on the supplier’s shipping report to verify wire strand count, wire diameter, color, terminal plating thickness, and dimensions. Connectors are sampled and tested for dimensional compliance against official drawings.
- Process Inspection
- Wire Cutting/Crimping Process: Initial, patrol, and final inspections are conducted per CP requirements. Patrol inspections occur at a frequency of 2 hours per shift.
- Pre-assembly Process: Insertion follows the “insert, listen twice, pull back” procedure.
- Assembly Process: First, verify seal installation. Second, confirm secondary locking of connectors and primary locking of terminals.
- Final Inspection
